We're delighted to announce that, this week, we'll be launching a partnership project with Cobalt Health. Cobalt is a leading medical charity, founded in 1964, and helps in disease prevention, research, treatment and diagnosis. Cobalt has been making a real difference to the quality of life and the outcomes for those affected by cancer and other life-limiting conditions.
Cobalt provides access diagnostic services to patients and hospitals, and is equipped with cutting-edge technology. Cobalt Health is often the first to invest in new technology, and was first in Europe to have a mobile 3.0 Tesla MRI, and the first in the world to use MultiTransmit technology.
We Are Cobalt is a very similar initiative to The 100 Project. We'll be photographing 100 people who work at, support, or use the services Cobalt Health provides. We Are Cobalt will show that this brilliant charity is more than the technology it uses, but that it is its people.
Samantha Watson, Head of Fundraising at Cobalt Health, said, "We are very excited about working with Naomi and Hywel of Pink Sky Design. The 100 We Are Cobalt project will really highlight how many amazing people - patients, staff, volunteers and supporters - make Cobalt the unique charity it is."
Since launching The 100 Project in October 2013, we've striven to do all that we can to raise money for our three key charities, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, MacMillan Cancer, and Maggie's Centres. We're dedicated to helping to beat cancer, and we're looking forward to support Cobalt in their mission to provide world-leading diagnostic and research facilities.
